Impactive - One Simple Act with a Huge Impact.
The “Impactive” project was created with the goal of helping to transform the landscape of investing. As the Art Director, Logo Designer, and Product Designer, it was my responsibility to develop a bold, young data driven, and confident brand experience for the Impactive project. By applying research, design principles, and modern trends I was able to create an enjoyable user experience that helped to make a meaningful impact and drive social change.
Design Process
In order to create a unique and impactful design for Impactive, the design process was divided into four steps.
The first step was Research and Ideation. During this stage, I conducted research to gain a better understanding of the target audience, industry trends, and competitors. This step was essential in order to create a design that was both modern and tailored to the target audience.
The second step was Logo Design. Here I developed a logo that was simple, bold, and memorable to represent the Impactive brand. The logo was designed with the intention of creating a unified and confident brand experience.
The third step was Product Design. During this stage I designed clear and user-friendly product features and functions with an emphasis on modern design trends. My goal was to create a product that was intuitive and easy to use while still being visually appealing.
The final step was User Experience Design. Here I focused on crafting an enjoyable user experience by applying principles of user-centered design. This included creating a user-friendly navigation system, an intuitive interface, and interactive elements.
Results
To create the desired user experience for Impactive, simplistic yet bold design elements were used throughout the project. This included using vibrant colors to draw attention to important elements, using icons to simplify navigation systems, and using visuals to make information easier to understand. By utilizing these techniques I was able to create an enjoyable user experience that met the goals of the project.
The branding, copyrighting, and user experience for the iOS and Android apps were also successful. The logo was simple yet memorable and helped to create a unified brand identity across all platforms. The product design was also well-received with users noting its clarity and ease of use. Finally, the user experience design was praised for its intuitive navigation system and interactive elements.
Conclusion
Overall, the Impactive project was successful in creating a meaningful impact and driving social change. The branding, copyrighting, and user experience for the iOS and Android apps were well-received by users which helped to create a unified and confident brand experience. Through this project I learned the importance of researching the target audience, crafting an enjoyable user experience, and creating bold design elements in order to make an impact.
